INDUCTOR 120E is an induction heater for fast, flameless heating of ferrous metals, aluminium and copper by induction.
Using the principle of electromagnetic induction, it can deliver a large amount of heat to a specific spot in just a few seconds, to a depth of 4mm. Because it heats only the selected area, it does not damage glass, rubber or plastic parts, or painted surfaces right next to where the heater is working.
The built-in liquid cooling lets it run at 10 kW, with 12 kVA drawn from the mains.
Recommended for production use, for example when the same parts are heated repeatedly with similar heating times. The unit is optimised for heating copper, which also makes brazing possible.
It gives you full control over heating during work. Unlike a gas torch, the induction heater heats the metal only at the selected spot, to a temperature of 500-600°C, and does not change the technical properties of the steel.
