Weldas LAVA BROWN™ / aluminised 44-7900 double-sided welding cushion
The Lava Brown™ accessory line stands for uncompromising protection and durability and is designed for professionals who work in the harshest industrial conditions. The 44-7900 cushion is a key part of this series, made to give the welder safety and comfort during long positional jobs where standard solutions fall short.

Materials and Construction
What sets the 44-7900 cushion apart is its dual-purpose design, which deals with different hazards in the workplace.
Lava Brown™ side: Made of top-quality, selected grade A cowhide split leather at least 1 mm thick. It offers exceptional resistance to abrasion, punctures and contact with hot spatter. It is the ideal solution for kneeling or sitting on sharp metal edges, grating platforms or hot concrete.
PFR aluminised side: The other side is covered with a specialised PFR (Pre-shrunk Flame Retardant) fabric with an aluminised coating. Its job is to reflect up to 95% of radiant heat, which is essential when you work close to processes with high heat emission, such as preheating, gouging or welding heavy components.
The whole construction is sewn with multi-ply DuPont™ KEVLAR® thread, which does not melt or break at high temperature and keeps the cushion intact even in extreme conditions.
