PLASMA 170 inverter plasma cutter
The PLASMA 170 inverter plasma cutter is a multi-purpose tool that answers what tradesmen and specialists need. With IGBT technology behind it, the PLASMA 170 is very well suited to manual plasma cutting. It does its best work on jobs such as distortion free cutting of parts and components made of carbon steel, stainless steel, brass, copper or cast iron with a max thickness of 45 mm.
During work a digital display reports the state of the machine. A dedicated LED placed on the front panel tells us that the PLASMA 170 inverter plasma cutter has switched off because of overload. The cutter also has electronically controlled stepless cutting current adjustment. The cutting arc is struck without contact (HF) through a current pulse of high voltage or high frequency. Before the main arc, a pilot (auxiliary) arc is struck. The cutter needs a supply of compressed air, for example from a FINI compressor of the MK 113-200-4T type.
Plasma cutter for many kinds of work
Because of what it can do, the PLASMA 170 inverter plasma cutter finds many uses. It performs well in various production processes and in scrap processing. Cutting the metals named above gives it no trouble at all. In the tabs on the product page you will find further information, such as the optional equipment and the table of technical data.
