Description
WiseThin+ is a specially developed low-energy arc welding process for manual and automated welding of thin sheets. It uses precise voltage measurements and current regulation. It achieves the quality characteristic of mixed gas welding using pure CO₂. Increases the permissible parameter range and therefore reduces the need for smaller diameter wire. Soft and easy to control arc. Excellent welding quality for sheet metal 0.8-3.0 mm thick. Less heat input and deformation. Excellent arc ignition for tacking and intermittent welds.
BENEFITS
- Higher welding speed than traditional arc welding
- High weld quality, less machining after welding
- Less heat input and therefore less deformation
- Reduced number and volume of splashes
- Stable arc for positional welding for thicker plates
- Excellent arc seizure for tacking and intermittent welds
- Savings in welding costs due to the characteristics of mixed gas welding using pure CO₂.
- Welding in PG (top-down) and all other forced positions
- Easy to make short welds thanks to precise arc control
- Suitable for soldering
- Increases the permissible range of parameters and therefore reduces the need for smaller diameter wire
- Soft and easy to control arc
- Easy to use
A short-arc welding process for thin sheet metal. WiseThin provides an easy-to-control and splinter-free arc by digitally controlling welding parameters at any position, even for wider weld borders and variations in gap size.
