Boge S 15/350 is a screw compressor with a motor power of 11 kW on a 350 l tank. The output is 1.65 m3/min, that is 1650 l/min, with a supply of 400 V. The working pressure is set at 8 bar.
What this machine is for
The compressor goes to medium and large mechanical workshops, to paint shops and to production plants where the air draw is steady and high. An output of 1650 l/min will feed pneumatic tools, blasting machines and industrial automation, and a 350 l tank smooths out the peaks in draw when several loads start at once.
The machine has no inverter drive, so it works in a simple layout: load and idle running. Less electronics means fewer components that can fail in a dusty workshop, but also no stepless matching of the output to the current draw. The screw unit is made by Boge and works with small pressure pulsations.
This unit went through an oil service and a change of filters with us, so it is ready to be connected at the station.

What to watch out for
The supply is 400 V, so you need a power connection and a fuse matched to the starting of the 11 kW motor. The working pressure is set at 8 bar, the build allows 10 bar, and the safety valve will act at 11 bar. Leave a change of the setting to a person who knows this machine, because a higher pressure means a higher current draw and faster wear of the screw unit.
The 350 l tank and the unit weigh their own, so for transport and carrying in prepare a pallet truck and a place with ventilation, because the compressor gives off a fair amount of heat. For the station choose a dryer and filters if the air is to feed a paint shop or a plasma cutter, because moisture and oil destroy nozzles and spoil the paint coat. The card lists neither the equipment nor the connection hoses, ask about them before you buy.

This unit was checked in our service workshop in Krotoszyn with measurements to PN-EN 60974-4 and a load test. The price includes the first year of the basic service package: an inspection with cleaning of the machine and a validation measurement. Further years can be added.
