The Cebora Plasma Prof 90 A is a transformer plasma cutter with a copper winding, with a cutting current up to 90 A. It has two working ranges, 60 A and 90 A, and the duty cycle is 90 A at 40% and 60 A at 90%. Severance cutting reaches 40 mm, quality cutting 22 mm.
What this machine is for
This is equipment for heavy work, where cutting the material through counts and not a smooth edge. Severance cutting up to 40 mm parts thick items, while an edge of a quality fit for further work without much grinding you get up to 22 mm. The plasma arc cuts every metal that conducts current, so beside mild steel you also handle high alloy steel and aluminium alloys. The maker aimed this model at scrapping plants, at building firms and at heavy metalwork shops.
The transformer build is the main advantage here. The machine takes voltage swings, dust and damp, because inside there is no deep electronics, which in such conditions fails first. The pilot arc strikes surely, also when you pierce an item 30 mm thick. The handling is simple: you switch the range, connect the air and the supply, and you cut, with no menus and no screens. Two ranges let you move fast between more accurate cutting and severance cutting.
Features and equipment
- Transformer with a copper winding: a build resistant to voltage jumps, dust and damp, with no sensitive electronics.
- Cutting current up to 90 A with a duty cycle of 90 A at 40% and 60 A at 90%: the lower range works almost without breaks.
- Two working ranges, 60 A and 90 A: a fast move between more accurate cutting and severing thick material.
- Severance cutting up to 40 mm and quality cutting up to 22 mm: two different values worth telling apart when you plan the work.
- Steady pilot arc: the machine strikes surely also when you pierce an item 30 mm thick.
- Cutting of all metals that conduct current: mild steel, high alloy steel and aluminium alloys.
- Plasma hose of 7.5 m length: reach around the station without moving the heavy power source.

What to watch out for
The duty cycle is 90 A at 40% and 60 A at 90%, so at the full current plan breaks, and at 60 A you work almost without stopping. The torch is cooled by gas, you need compressed air with an output of about 220 l/min, dry and free of oil, because damp and oil eat the nozzles faster than the current itself. Check the torch consumables before the first cut and count a stock for the start.
The product card gives no supply voltage and no weight of the unit, so confirm the setup before you buy and prepare a trolley for the transport, because a transformer power source has its weight. The card also gives a cutting current band up to 100 A, while the maker description says 90 A.
How we sell used machines
This unit was checked in our service workshop in Krotoszyn with measurements to PN-EN 60974-4 and a load test. The price includes the first year of the basic service package: an inspection with cleaning of the machine and a validation measurement. Further years can be added. We ship across the European Union, collection in person by appointment.
