What it is for
The WRC-B helps in TIG welding when you want to change the current without leaving the workpiece and without one more cable at the workplace. On the remote control page the Böhler price list describes it generally as compatible with CORE, and on the accessory pages of the individual machines it is listed for CORE 185 TIG and CORE 210 TIG. For CORE 165, 185 and 210 MMA the price list gives the wired RC 18.

Does the WRC-B fit CORE MMA?
The accessory pages of CORE 165 MMA, CORE 185 MMA and CORE 210 MMA do not list it. For these machines choose the wired RC 18.
What is the difference between WRC-B and RC 18?
Both only adjust welding current. The WRC-B works without a cable and measures 85 x 35 x 18 mm at 0.03 kg. The RC 18 uses analogue communication, a 5, 10 or 15 m cable, measures 160 x 40 x 50 mm and weighs 0.7 kg.
Does the WRC-B have a display?
No. In the Böhler selection guide the WRC-B only adjusts welding current.
What range and power supply does it have?
The Böhler price list 2026/27 does not state the range or the power supply of the remote. If this matters to you, ask us before ordering.
