This ArcDrive program sets up the machine to weld with BÖHLER EMK 8 wire, 1.0 mm, with M21 shielding gas. You work in synergic or manual mode, with short arc or spray arc.
What it is for
Each program covers one combination: wire, diameter, gas. You enter wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. The program is meant for unalloyed and low-alloy steels, which covers most structural work. M21 is the most widely used mixture for structural steels.

How does ArcDrive differ from PulseDrive?
ArcDrive welds with short and spray arc, without pulse. PulseDrive adds pulsed arc and double pulse, which helps on thin sheet and in position. The PulseDrive version of this program: PulseDrive 1.0 mm, gas M21 (79.P1.23299).
Can I use this program with a different gas?
No: the curves are made for M21. For C1 choose a separate program: ArcDrive 1.0 mm, gas C1 (79.S1.00398).
