This synergic ArcDrive program is set up for BÖHLER Q G4 wire, 0.8 mm diameter, with C1 shielding gas. It covers short arc and spray arc, in manual and synergic mode.
What it is for
Each program covers one combination: wire, diameter, gas. You enter wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. Use it for unalloyed and low-alloy steels in the workshop and in production. A 0.8 mm wire works well on thin sheet and in position welding.

How does ArcDrive differ from PulseDrive?
ArcDrive welds with short and spray arc, without pulse. PulseDrive adds pulsed arc and double pulse, which helps on thin sheet and in position.
Can I use this program with a different gas?
No: the curves are made for C1. For M20 choose a separate program: ArcDrive 0.8 mm, gas M20 (79.S1.01296).
