This ArcDrive program sets up the machine to weld with BÖHLER X 70 IG CL wire, 1.0 mm, with M21 shielding gas. This is classic MIG/MAG without pulse: short arc at lower currents and spray arc at higher ones.
What it is for
A program is a set of synergic curves for one wire, one diameter and one gas: you set wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. Wires of this group are used on high-strength steels, for example in construction machinery, cranes and trailers. M21 is the most widely used mixture for structural steels.

Yes, if your model is on the list above. You buy the program for one specific machine: give its model and serial number with your order. Installation (service visit or manufacturer update) is agreed after the order.
How does ArcDrive differ from PulseDrive?
ArcDrive welds with short and spray arc, without pulse. PulseDrive adds pulsed arc and double pulse, which helps on thin sheet and in position. The PulseDrive version of this program: PulseDrive 1.0 mm, gas M21 (79.P1.21698).
Can I use this program with a different wire?
The curves are tuned to BÖHLER X 70 IG CL. Another wire may behave differently, so contact us and we will match a program to the wire you use.
