This ArcDrive program sets up the machine to weld with BÖHLER X 70 IG CL wire, 1.2 mm, with M21 shielding gas. This is classic MIG/MAG without pulse: short arc at lower currents and spray arc at higher ones.
What it is for
Each program covers one combination: wire, diameter, gas. You enter wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. The program is meant for high-strength steels, where repeatable heat input and a stable arc matter. M21 is the most widely used mixture for structural steels.

How does ArcDrive differ from PulseDrive?

Can I use this program with a different wire?
The curves are tuned to BÖHLER X 70 IG CL. Another wire may behave differently, so contact us and we will match a program to the wire you use.
