The program holds synergic curves for this one combination of wire, diameter and gas. You change wire feed speed or plate thickness and the machine sets voltage and arc shape itself. The program is meant for high-strength steels, where repeatable heat input and a stable arc matter.

Can I add this program to my TERRA NX or URANOS NX?
Yes, if your model is on the list above. ArcDrive has the widest machine list: it also covers TERRA NX 320/400 SMC SteelDrive and TERRA NX 400/500 MSE. When ordering, give the model and serial number of the machine the program is for. Installation, by our service or as a manufacturer update, is agreed after the order.
How does ArcDrive differ from PulseDrive?
ArcDrive welds with short and spray arc, without pulse. PulseDrive adds pulsed arc and double pulse, which helps on thin sheet and in position. The PulseDrive version of this program: PulseDrive 1.2 mm, gas M20 (79.P1.19199).
Can I use this program with a different gas?
No: the curves are made for M20. For M21 choose a separate program: ArcDrive 1.2 mm, gas M21 (79.S1.18799).
