This ArcDrive program sets up the machine to weld with HardFacing G6 FCW (Stellite G6) class wires, 1.6 mm, with I1 shielding gas. You work in synergic or manual mode, with short arc or spray arc.
What it is for
Each program covers one combination: wire, diameter, gas. You enter wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. The program is for surfacing, that is applying layers with properties different from the base metal.

Yes, if your model is on the list above. ArcDrive has the widest machine list: it also covers TERRA NX 320/400 SMC SteelDrive and TERRA NX 400/500 MSE. Give the machine model and serial number with your order so we can confirm compatibility with its software. Whether our service installs it or it comes as a manufacturer update is settled after the order.
How does ArcDrive differ from PulseDrive?
ArcDrive welds with short and spray arc, without pulse. PulseDrive adds pulsed arc and double pulse, which helps on thin sheet and in position. The PulseDrive version of this program: PulseDrive 1.6 mm, gas I1 (79.P1.128).
Can I use this program with a different gas?
No: the curves are made for I1. For M13 choose a separate program: ArcDrive 1.6 mm, gas M13 (79.S1.130).
