PulseDrive program for HardFacing G6 FCW (Stellite G6) class wires, 1.6 mm, with I1 shielding gas. It provides pulsed arc and double pulse, which means less spatter and better pool control.
What it is for
The program holds synergic curves for this one combination of wire, diameter and gas. You change wire feed speed or plate thickness and the machine sets voltage and arc shape itself. The program is for surfacing, that is applying layers with properties different from the base metal. A Stellite 6 type alloy is a cobalt-chromium alloy used on surfaces exposed to wear.

Can I add this program to my TERRA NX or URANOS NX?
Yes, as long as your machine is in the selection list above. TERRA NX 320/400 SMC SteelDrive and TERRA NX 400/500 MSE are not listed for PulseDrive in the selection guide. When ordering, give the model and serial number of the machine the program is for. Installation, by our service or as a manufacturer update, is agreed after the order.
How does PulseDrive differ from ArcDrive?
ArcDrive means short and spray arc without pulse. PulseDrive gives pulsed arc and double pulse: less spatter and easier pool control. ArcDrive for this set-up: ArcDrive 1.6 mm, gas I1 (79.S1.128).
Can I use this program with a different gas?
No: the curves are made for I1. For M13 choose a separate program: PulseDrive 1.6 mm, gas M13 (79.P1.130).
