This synergic ArcDrive program is set up for Thermanit 20 16 SM wire, 1.0 mm diameter, with Z shielding gas. You work in synergic or manual mode, with short arc or spray arc.
What it is for
A program is a set of synergic curves for one wire, one diameter and one gas: you set wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. Use it on stainless steels, where a clean weld and little spatter count. A 1.0 mm wire is a good choice for thin and medium sheet.

How does ArcDrive differ from PulseDrive?
ArcDrive welds with short and spray arc, without pulse. PulseDrive adds pulsed arc and double pulse, which helps on thin sheet and in position. The PulseDrive version of this program: PulseDrive 1.0 mm, gas Z (79.P1.28699).
Can I use this program with a different wire?
The curves are tuned to Thermanit 20 16 SM. Another wire may behave differently, so contact us and we will match a program to the wire you use.
