This PulseDrive program sets the machine up for pulsed arc welding with Thermanit 20 16 SM wire, 1.2 mm, with Z shielding gas. It provides pulsed arc and double pulse, which means less spatter and better pool control.
What it is for
A program is a set of synergic curves for one wire, one diameter and one gas: you set wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. The program is meant for stainless and acid-resistant steels. The 1.2 mm diameter suits medium and thicker plate, typical in fabrication work. Z is a special helium mixture; its composition is shown in the table.
