This ArcDrive program sets up the machine to weld with Union K 52 wire, 0.8 mm, with C1 shielding gas. It covers short arc and spray arc, in manual and synergic mode.
What it is for
A program is a set of synergic curves for one wire, one diameter and one gas: you set wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. Use it for unalloyed and low-alloy steels in the workshop and in production. A 0.8 mm wire works well on thin sheet and in position welding.

Which machine can run this program?
Any machine on the list above. ArcDrive has the widest machine list: it also covers TERRA NX 320/400 SMC SteelDrive and TERRA NX 400/500 MSE. When ordering, give the model and serial number of the machine the program is for. Installation, by our service or as a manufacturer update, is agreed after the order.
How does ArcDrive differ from PulseDrive?
ArcDrive welds with short and spray arc, without pulse. PulseDrive adds pulsed arc and double pulse, which helps on thin sheet and in position.
Can I use this program with a different gas?
No: the curves are made for C1. For M20 choose a separate program: ArcDrive 0.8 mm, gas M20 (79.S1.01295).
