This synergic ArcDrive program is set up for Union NiMoCr CL wire, 1.0 mm diameter, with M21 shielding gas. This is classic MIG/MAG without pulse: short arc at lower currents and spray arc at higher ones.
What it is for
Each program covers one combination: wire, diameter, gas. You enter wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. The program is meant for high-strength steels, where repeatable heat input and a stable arc matter. M21 is the most widely used mixture for structural steels.

Will this program work on my machine?
Yes, as long as your machine is in the selection list above. ArcDrive has the widest machine list: it also covers TERRA NX 320/400 SMC SteelDrive and TERRA NX 400/500 MSE. Give the machine model and serial number with your order so we can confirm compatibility with its software. Whether our service installs it or it comes as a manufacturer update is settled after the order.
How does ArcDrive differ from PulseDrive?
ArcDrive welds with short and spray arc, without pulse. PulseDrive adds pulsed arc and double pulse, which helps on thin sheet and in position. The PulseDrive version of this program: PulseDrive 1.0 mm, gas M21 (79.P1.20898).
Can I use this program with a different wire?
The curves are tuned to Union NiMoCr CL. Another wire may behave differently, so contact us and we will match a program to the wire you use.
