This ArcDrive program sets up the machine to weld with UTP RB CHROMELESS 600 wire, 1.6 mm, with M21 shielding gas. This is classic MIG/MAG without pulse: short arc at lower currents and spray arc at higher ones.
What it is for
The program holds synergic curves for this one combination of wire, diameter and gas. You change wire feed speed or plate thickness and the machine sets voltage and arc shape itself. This is a surfacing program: you use it to apply a layer that protects a surface or restores its dimensions. M21 is the most widely used mixture for structural steels.

Will this program work on my machine?
Yes, if your model is on the list above. ArcDrive has the widest machine list: it also covers TERRA NX 320/400 SMC SteelDrive and TERRA NX 400/500 MSE. When ordering, give the model and serial number of the machine the program is for. Installation, by our service or as a manufacturer update, is agreed after the order.
How does ArcDrive differ from PulseDrive?
ArcDrive welds with short and spray arc, without pulse. PulseDrive adds pulsed arc and double pulse, which helps on thin sheet and in position. The PulseDrive version of this program: PulseDrive 1.6 mm, gas M21 (79.P1.29699).
Can I use this program with a different wire?
The curves are tuned to UTP RB CHROMELESS 600. Another wire may behave differently, so contact us and we will match a program to the wire you use.
