What it is for
Each program covers one combination: wire, diameter, gas. You enter wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. M21 is the most widely used mixture for structural steels.

ArcDrive means short and spray arc without pulse. PulseDrive gives pulsed arc and double pulse: less spatter and easier pool control. ArcDrive for this set-up: ArcDrive 1.6 mm, gas M21 (79.S1.022).
Does it suit wire from any manufacturer?
Yes, if it is a basic flux-cored wire (BFCW) for unalloyed steel. The spool label will not show the abbreviation BFCW, so if in doubt send us the wire name before ordering.
