This PulseDrive pulse program is set up for BÖHLER EMK 4 Ultra wire, 0.8 mm diameter, with M21 shielding gas. It provides pulsed arc and double pulse, which means less spatter and better pool control.
What it is for
A program is a set of synergic curves for one wire, one diameter and one gas: you set wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. Typical work: steel structures, frames, tanks and machine parts in unalloyed and low-alloy steel. A 0.8 mm wire works well on thin sheet and in position welding. M21 is the most widely used mixture for structural steels.
