What it is for
The program holds synergic curves for this one combination of wire, diameter and gas. You change wire feed speed or plate thickness and the machine sets voltage and arc shape itself. Typical work: steel structures, frames, tanks and machine parts in unalloyed and low-alloy steel. A 0.8 mm wire works well on thin sheet and in position welding.

How does ArcDrive differ from PulseDrive?
ArcDrive welds with short and spray arc, without pulse. PulseDrive adds pulsed arc and double pulse, which helps on thin sheet and in position. The PulseDrive version of this program: PulseDrive 0.8 mm, gas M21 (79.P1.00792).
Can I use this program with a different gas?
No: the curves are made for M21. For C1 choose a separate program: ArcDrive 0.8 mm, gas C1 (79.S1.00292).
