This PulseDrive program sets the machine up for pulsed arc welding with BÖHLER EMK 8 wire, 1.6 mm, with M21 shielding gas. It provides pulsed arc and double pulse, which means less spatter and better pool control.
What it is for
The program holds synergic curves for this one combination of wire, diameter and gas. You change wire feed speed or plate thickness and the machine sets voltage and arc shape itself. Use it for unalloyed and low-alloy steels in the workshop and in production. M21 is the most widely used mixture for structural steels.

Yes, if your model is on the list above. Give the machine model and serial number with your order so we can confirm compatibility with its software. Whether our service installs it or it comes as a manufacturer update is settled after the order.
PulseDrive or QuickPulse?
QuickPulse is a T.MAP process: the price list credits it with faster welding, higher deposition rate, a more concentrated arc and less heat. It covers fewer machines, not URANOS NX 2700. QuickPulse for this set-up: QuickPulse 1.6 mm, gas M21 (79.QP.23499).
Can I use this program with a different gas?
No: the curves are made for M21. For M20 choose a separate program: PulseDrive 1.6 mm, gas M20 (79.P1.23899).
