This PulseDrive pulse program is set up for BÖHLER EMK 8 Ultra wire, 1.2 mm diameter, with M20 shielding gas. It provides pulsed arc and double pulse, which means less spatter and better pool control.
What it is for
Each program covers one combination: wire, diameter, gas. You enter wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. The program is meant for unalloyed and low-alloy steels, which covers most structural work.

Which machine can run this program?
Any machine on the list above. TERRA NX 320/400 SMC SteelDrive and TERRA NX 400/500 MSE are not listed for PulseDrive in the selection guide. When ordering, give the model and serial number of the machine the program is for. Installation, by our service or as a manufacturer update, is agreed after the order.
PulseDrive or QuickPulse?
QuickPulse is a T.MAP process: the price list credits it with faster welding, higher deposition rate, a more concentrated arc and less heat. It covers fewer machines, not URANOS NX 2700. QuickPulse for this set-up: QuickPulse 1.2 mm, gas M20 (79.QP.23798).
Can I use another ER70S-6 wire?
