This PulseDrive pulse program is set up for BÖHLER Q G4 wire, 0.6 mm diameter, with M21 shielding gas. You get pulsed arc and double pulse, useful where the look of the weld face matters.
What it is for
The program holds synergic curves for this one combination of wire, diameter and gas. You change wire feed speed or plate thickness and the machine sets voltage and arc shape itself. Typical work: steel structures, frames, tanks and machine parts in unalloyed and low-alloy steel. M21 is the most widely used mixture for structural steels.

How does PulseDrive differ from ArcDrive?
ArcDrive means short and spray arc without pulse. PulseDrive gives pulsed arc and double pulse: less spatter and easier pool control. ArcDrive for this set-up: ArcDrive 0.6 mm, gas M21 (79.S1.00696).
Can I use another ER70S-6 wire?
