This PulseDrive program sets the machine up for pulsed arc welding with G3/4 Si1 (ER70S-6) class wires, 0.6 mm, with M21 shielding gas. You get pulsed arc and double pulse, useful where the look of the weld face matters.
What it is for
A program is a set of synergic curves for one wire, one diameter and one gas: you set wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. Use it for unalloyed and low-alloy steels in the workshop and in production. M21 is the most widely used mixture for structural steels.

How does PulseDrive differ from ArcDrive?
ArcDrive means short and spray arc without pulse. PulseDrive gives pulsed arc and double pulse: less spatter and easier pool control.
Does it suit wire from any manufacturer?
Yes, if the wire belongs to the G3/4 Si1 (ER70S-6) class, which you can check on the spool label. If you weld with BÖHLER EMK 8, choose the program tuned to it: PulseDrive BÖHLER EMK 8 0.6 mm, gas M21 (79.P1.00698).
