What it is for

How does PulseDrive differ from ArcDrive?
ArcDrive means short and spray arc without pulse. PulseDrive gives pulsed arc and double pulse: less spatter and easier pool control. ArcDrive for this set-up: ArcDrive 1.2 mm, gas M12 (79.S1.056).
Does it suit wire from any manufacturer?
Yes, if the wire belongs to the CrNi 19 12 3 (ER316) class, which you can check on the spool label. If you weld with Thermanit GE 316L Si, choose the program tuned to it: PulseDrive Thermanit GE 316L Si 1.2 mm, gas M12 (79.P1.05699).
