What it is for
A program is a set of synergic curves for one wire, one diameter and one gas: you set wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. The program is meant for high-strength steels, where repeatable heat input and a stable arc matter. M21 is the most widely used mixture for structural steels.

Yes, as long as your machine is in the selection list above. Give the machine model and serial number with your order so we can confirm compatibility with its software. Whether our service installs it or it comes as a manufacturer update is settled after the order.

Can I use this program with a different gas?
No: the curves are made for M21. M21 is the most widely used mixture for structural steels. For M20 choose a separate program: PulseDrive 1.2 mm, gas M20 (79.P1.18399).
