This PulseDrive program sets the machine up for pulsed arc welding with G3/4 Si1 (ER70S-6) class wires, 1.6 mm, with M21 shielding gas. Pulsed arc and double pulse make thin sheet and positional welds easier.
What it is for
The program holds synergic curves for this one combination of wire, diameter and gas. You change wire feed speed or plate thickness and the machine sets voltage and arc shape itself. Typical work: steel structures, frames, tanks and machine parts in unalloyed and low-alloy steel.

Yes, as long as your machine is in the selection list above. When ordering, give the model and serial number of the machine the program is for. Installation, by our service or as a manufacturer update, is agreed after the order.
How does PulseDrive differ from ArcDrive?
ArcDrive means short and spray arc without pulse. PulseDrive gives pulsed arc and double pulse: less spatter and easier pool control. ArcDrive for this set-up: ArcDrive 1.6 mm, gas M21 (79.S1.010).
Does it suit wire from any manufacturer?
Yes, if the wire belongs to the G3/4 Si1 (ER70S-6) class, which you can check on the spool label. If you weld with BÖHLER EMK 8, choose the program tuned to it: PulseDrive BÖHLER EMK 8 1.6 mm, gas M21 (79.P1.23499).
