This PulseDrive program sets the machine up for pulsed arc welding with Thermanit H - 347 Si wire, 1.0 mm, with M12 shielding gas. Pulsed arc and double pulse make thin sheet and positional welds easier.
What it is for
A program is a set of synergic curves for one wire, one diameter and one gas: you set wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. The program is meant for stainless and acid-resistant steels. M12 is argon with a small CO2 addition, a typical gas for stainless steel.

Which machine can run this program?
Any machine on the list above. TERRA NX 320/400 SMC SteelDrive and TERRA NX 400/500 MSE are not listed for PulseDrive in the selection guide. Give the machine model and serial number with your order so we can confirm compatibility with its software. Whether our service installs it or it comes as a manufacturer update is settled after the order.
How does PulseDrive differ from ArcDrive?
ArcDrive means short and spray arc without pulse. PulseDrive gives pulsed arc and double pulse: less spatter and easier pool control.
Can I use another ER347Si wire?
The curves are tuned to Thermanit H - 347 Si. Another wire may behave differently, so contact us and we will match a program to the wire you use.
