This PulseDrive program sets the machine up for pulsed arc welding with Thermanit Nicro 82 wire, 1.2 mm, with M12 shielding gas. It provides pulsed arc and double pulse, which means less spatter and better pool control.
What it is for
Each program covers one combination: wire, diameter, gas. You enter wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. The program is meant for nickel alloys. M12 is argon with a small CO2 addition, a typical gas for stainless steel. The 1.2 mm diameter suits medium and thicker plate, typical in fabrication work.

Which machine can run this program?
Any machine on the list above. TERRA NX 320/400 SMC SteelDrive and TERRA NX 400/500 MSE are not listed for PulseDrive in the selection guide. You buy the program for one specific machine: give its model and serial number with your order. Installation (service visit or manufacturer update) is agreed after the order.
How does PulseDrive differ from ArcDrive?
ArcDrive means short and spray arc without pulse. PulseDrive gives pulsed arc and double pulse: less spatter and easier pool control.
Can I use this program with a different gas?
No: the curves are made for M12. M12 is argon with a small CO2 addition, a typical gas for stainless steel. For Z choose a separate program: PulseDrive 1.2 mm, gas Z (79.P1.26299).
