What it is for
Each program covers one combination: wire, diameter, gas. You enter wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. Typical work: steel structures, frames, tanks and machine parts in unalloyed and low-alloy steel.

Which machine can run this program?
Any machine on the list above. TERRA NX 320/400 SMC SteelDrive and TERRA NX 400/500 MSE are not listed for PulseDrive in the selection guide. Give the machine model and serial number with your order so we can confirm compatibility with its software. Whether our service installs it or it comes as a manufacturer update is settled after the order.
How does PulseDrive differ from ArcDrive?
ArcDrive means short and spray arc without pulse. PulseDrive gives pulsed arc and double pulse: less spatter and easier pool control. ArcDrive for this set-up: ArcDrive 0.8 mm, gas M20 (79.S1.01294).
Can I use another ER70S-6 wire?
The curves are tuned to Union K 56. For other brands of the same class the price list offers the Universal ARC line, here: PulseDrive G3/4 Si1 (ER70S-6) 0.8 mm, gas M20 (79.P1.012).
