This PulseDrive program sets the machine up for pulsed arc welding with Union X 85 wire, 1.0 mm, with M20 shielding gas. You get pulsed arc and double pulse, useful where the look of the weld face matters.
What it is for
A program is a set of synergic curves for one wire, one diameter and one gas: you set wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. Wires of this group are used on high-strength steels, for example in construction machinery, cranes and trailers. A 1.0 mm wire is a good choice for thin and medium sheet.

Which machine can run this program?
Any machine on the list above. TERRA NX 320/400 SMC SteelDrive and TERRA NX 400/500 MSE are not listed for PulseDrive in the selection guide. You buy the program for one specific machine: give its model and serial number with your order. Installation (service visit or manufacturer update) is agreed after the order.
PulseDrive or QuickPulse?
QuickPulse is a T.MAP process: the price list credits it with faster welding, higher deposition rate, a more concentrated arc and less heat. It covers fewer machines, not URANOS NX 2700. QuickPulse for this set-up: QuickPulse 1.0 mm, gas M20 (79.QP.22899).
Can I use this program with a different gas?
No: the curves are made for M20. For M21 choose a separate program: PulseDrive 1.0 mm, gas M21 (79.P1.22499).
