This PulseDrive program sets the machine up for pulsed arc welding with UTP AF ROBOTIC 352 wire, 1.6 mm, with M21 shielding gas. You get pulsed arc and double pulse, useful where the look of the weld face matters.
What it is for
The program holds synergic curves for this one combination of wire, diameter and gas. You change wire feed speed or plate thickness and the machine sets voltage and arc shape itself. The program is for surfacing, that is applying layers with properties different from the base metal.

ArcDrive means short and spray arc without pulse. PulseDrive gives pulsed arc and double pulse: less spatter and easier pool control. ArcDrive for this set-up: ArcDrive 1.6 mm, gas M21 (79.S1.26799).
Can I use this program with a different wire?
The curves are tuned to UTP AF ROBOTIC 352. Another wire may behave differently, so contact us and we will match a program to the wire you use.
