What it is for
Each program covers one combination: wire, diameter, gas. You enter wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. The program is meant for aluminium and its alloys. AlSi5 is used on aluminium-silicon alloys and castings. Pure argon is the standard shield for aluminium, copper and nickel alloys.

Any machine on the list above. QuickPulse is not listed for TERRA NX SMC SteelDrive, TERRA NX MSE or URANOS NX 2700. Give the machine model and serial number with your order so we can confirm compatibility with its software. Whether our service installs it or it comes as a manufacturer update is settled after the order.
How does QuickPulse differ from PulseDrive?
PulseDrive is synergic welding with pulsed arc and double pulse. QuickPulse is a T.MAP process: the price list credits it with faster welding, better penetration, a more stable arc and fewer defects. PulseDrive for this set-up: PulseDrive 1.6 mm, gas I1 (79.P1.113).
Does it suit wire from any manufacturer?
Yes, if the wire belongs to the AlSi5 (ER4043) class, which you can check on the spool label. If your wire is unusual, contact us before ordering.
