What it is for
A program is a set of synergic curves for one wire, one diameter and one gas: you set wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. The program is meant for aluminium and its alloys. AlMg5 is used on aluminium-magnesium alloys. Pure argon is the standard shield for aluminium, copper and nickel alloys.

Yes, if your model is on the list above. QuickPulse is not listed for TERRA NX SMC SteelDrive, TERRA NX MSE or URANOS NX 2700. When ordering, give the model and serial number of the machine the program is for. Installation, by our service or as a manufacturer update, is agreed after the order.
How does QuickPulse differ from PulseDrive?
PulseDrive is synergic welding with pulsed arc and double pulse. QuickPulse is a T.MAP process: the price list credits it with faster welding, better penetration, a more stable arc and fewer defects. PulseDrive for this set-up: PulseDrive 1.6 mm, gas I1 (79.P1.109).
Does it suit wire from any manufacturer?
Yes, if the wire belongs to the AlMg5 (ER5356) class, which you can check on the spool label. If your wire is unusual, contact us before ordering.
