What it is for
The program holds synergic curves for this one combination of wire, diameter and gas. You change wire feed speed or plate thickness and the machine sets voltage and arc shape itself. Use it on aluminium, where stable wire feeding and a well-matched arc make a real difference. Al99.5 is a wire for commercially pure aluminium. The 1.6 mm diameter is for thick parts where deposition per hour matters. Pure argon is the standard shield for aluminium, copper and nickel alloys.
