This program runs the advanced T.MAP QuickPulse process for BÖHLER EMK 6 wire, 0.8 mm diameter, with M20 shielding gas. The Böhler Welding price list credits QuickPulse with faster welding, better penetration and a more stable arc.
What it is for
Each program covers one combination: wire, diameter, gas. You enter wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. Typical work: steel structures, frames, tanks and machine parts in unalloyed and low-alloy steel. A 0.8 mm wire works well on thin sheet and in position welding.

Can I add this program to my TERRA NX or URANOS NX?
Yes, as long as your machine is in the selection list above. You buy the program for one specific machine: give its model and serial number with your order. Installation (service visit or manufacturer update) is agreed after the order.
How does QuickPulse differ from PulseDrive?
PulseDrive is synergic welding with pulsed arc and double pulse. QuickPulse is a T.MAP process: the price list credits it with faster welding, better penetration, a more stable arc and fewer defects. PulseDrive for this set-up: PulseDrive 0.8 mm, gas M20 (79.P1.01299).
Can I use this program with a different gas?
No: the curves are made for M20. M20 contains less CO2 than M21, so the arc is calmer and produces less spatter. For M21 choose a separate program: QuickPulse 0.8 mm, gas M21 (79.QP.00799).
