What it is for
The program holds synergic curves for this one combination of wire, diameter and gas. You change wire feed speed or plate thickness and the machine sets voltage and arc shape itself. Typical work: steel structures, frames, tanks and machine parts in unalloyed and low-alloy steel. The 1.2 mm diameter suits medium and thicker plate, typical in fabrication work.

Can I add this program to my TERRA NX or URANOS NX?
Yes, as long as your machine is in the selection list above. QuickPulse is not listed for TERRA NX SMC SteelDrive, TERRA NX MSE or URANOS NX 2700. You buy the program for one specific machine: give its model and serial number with your order. Installation (service visit or manufacturer update) is agreed after the order.
How does QuickPulse differ from PulseDrive?
PulseDrive is synergic welding with pulsed arc and double pulse. QuickPulse is a T.MAP process: the price list credits it with faster welding, better penetration, a more stable arc and fewer defects. PulseDrive for this set-up: PulseDrive 1.2 mm, gas M21 (79.P1.27698).
Can I use this program with a different gas?
No: the curves are made for M21. For M20 choose a separate program: QuickPulse 1.2 mm, gas M20 (79.QP.27998).
