This program runs the advanced T.MAP QuickPulse process for Thermanit JE 308L Si wire, 1.6 mm diameter, with M12 shielding gas. The Böhler Welding price list credits QuickPulse with faster welding, better penetration and a more stable arc.
What it is for
Each program covers one combination: wire, diameter, gas. You enter wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. The program is meant for stainless and acid-resistant steels. M12 is argon with a small CO2 addition, a typical gas for stainless steel.

Which machine can run this program?
Any machine on the list above. QuickPulse is not listed for TERRA NX SMC SteelDrive, TERRA NX MSE or URANOS NX 2700. You buy the program for one specific machine: give its model and serial number with your order. Installation (service visit or manufacturer update) is agreed after the order.
QuickPulse or RapiDeep?
The price list gives both T.MAP processes the same benefits. The machine list differs: RapiDeep also runs on TERRA NX 320/400 SMC SteelDrive, QuickPulse only on machines that run PulseDrive. RapiDeep for this set-up: RapiDeep 1.6 mm, gas M12 (79.RD.05399).
Can I use another ER308LSi wire?
The curves are tuned to Thermanit JE 308L Si. For other brands of the same class the price list offers the Universal ARC line, here: QuickPulse CrNi 19 9 (ER308) 1.6 mm, gas M12 (79.QP.053).
