What it is for
The program holds synergic curves for this one combination of wire, diameter and gas. You change wire feed speed or plate thickness and the machine sets voltage and arc shape itself. Wires of this group are used on high-strength steels, for example in construction machinery, cranes and trailers. The 1.2 mm diameter suits medium and thicker plate, typical in fabrication work.

Can I add this program to my TERRA NX or URANOS NX?
Yes, if your model is on the list above. QuickPulse is not listed for TERRA NX SMC SteelDrive, TERRA NX MSE or URANOS NX 2700. Give the machine model and serial number with your order so we can confirm compatibility with its software. Whether our service installs it or it comes as a manufacturer update is settled after the order.
How does QuickPulse differ from PulseDrive?
PulseDrive is synergic welding with pulsed arc and double pulse. QuickPulse is a T.MAP process: the price list credits it with faster welding, better penetration, a more stable arc and fewer defects. PulseDrive for this set-up: PulseDrive 1.2 mm, gas M21 (79.P1.20998).
Can I use this program with a different wire?
The curves are tuned to Union NiMoCr CL. Another wire may behave differently, so contact us and we will match a program to the wire you use.
