This RapiDeep program runs the T.MAP process for Union K 56 wire, 1.0 mm, with M21 shielding gas. The Böhler Welding price list credits RapiDeep with faster welding, better penetration and a more concentrated arc.
What it is for
Each program covers one combination: wire, diameter, gas. You enter wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. The program is meant for unalloyed and low-alloy steels, which covers most structural work. M21 is the most widely used mixture for structural steels.

Will this program work on my machine?
Yes, if your model is on the list above. TERRA NX 400/500 MSE and URANOS NX 2700 PMC and MTE are not listed for RapiDeep. Give the machine model and serial number with your order so we can confirm compatibility with its software. Whether our service installs it or it comes as a manufacturer update is settled after the order.
How does RapiDeep differ from ArcDrive?
ArcDrive is standard synergic welding with short and spray arc. RapiDeep is a T.MAP process: per the price list faster welding, better penetration and a more concentrated arc with less heat. ArcDrive for this set-up: ArcDrive 1.0 mm, gas M21 (79.S1.00894).
Can I use this program with a different gas?
No: the curves are made for M21. For M20 choose a separate program: RapiDeep 1.0 mm, gas M20 (79.RD.01394).
