The 6 m CAN bus connection cable is a separate item in the Böhler price list 2026/27, listed in the RC 100 MP block. The RC 100 MP remote has a part number without a cable length, and its available lengths are 6, 10 and 25 m, exactly matching the three CAN bus cables. On the machine accessory pages the cables appear in the remote control section.
What it is for
The cable connects the RC 100 MP remote to the machine. Choose the length to match the distance between machine and welding position, with a reserve for routing. As the cable is a separate item, you replace only the cable if it gets damaged, without buying a new remote.
The price list does not name the 6 m version for TERRA NX 320/400 SMC, TERRA NX 320/400 PMC, TERRA NX 400 PMC DualFeeder, TERRA NX 400/500 MSE and TERRA NX 400/500 PME. For these machines the remote control section lists the 10 and 25 m cables.

Which length should I choose?
Measure the route from the machine to your workplace and add a reserve. Three versions are available: 6 m (71.02.20501), 10 m (71.02.205) and 25 m (71.02.20504).
Does the cable fit the RC 18 remote?
No. The RC 18 uses analogue communication and has its own 5, 10 or 15 m cable. The price list pairs the CAN bus cables with the digital RC 100 MP.
