The Cebora MIG Star 330-C is a transformer MIG/MAG welder with a transformer on thick copper. The welding current reaches 330 A at a 35% duty cycle, and at a continuous 100% load the machine holds 190 A. You set the arc voltage in steps from 16 V to 30 V, a 4 roll feeder guides the wire.
What this machine is for
This is a welder for mild steel in a metalwork shop and in repairs of structures of medium thickness. The reserve of 330 A is enough for fillet welds in thicker sections, and 190 A in continuous work gives longer beads without stops. You pick the voltage with switches, eight fine positions and four coarse ones, you set the wire feed steplessly. The transformer build has no inverter electronics, so the machine takes the dust of a shop and is simple to repair.

What to watch out for
The machine needs a 400 V power socket, the documentation gives a 22 A fuse. Gas cools the torch, so at a current close to 330 A plan breaks, because the duty cycle there is 35%. The stepped adjustment does not change the voltage while the arc burns. A transformer weighs its own, around the shop it is easier to move the machine on a truck, and the data sheet gives neither the weight nor the dimensions. You match the rolls and the contact tip to the wire diameter.
