The Dalex Vario MIG 400 is a hybrid power source, that is a transformer with digital control, with a welding current of 400 A at a 60% duty cycle and 315 A at a 100% duty cycle. Supply 400 V, liquid cooling, a synergic mode, pulse, double pulse and programs for braze welding.
What this machine is for
The 315 A at a 100% duty cycle holds continuous work, and the 400 A gives a reserve for heavier joints. The list of synergic curves is a long one: you choose the wire and the gas, and the panel suggests the settings. The braze welding programs join galvanised sheet without burning off the coating.
The digital panel gives access to the welding sequence: gas flow times, ramp up currents, crater filling and hot start. The wire feeder has 4 rollers, for wire from 1.0 mm to 1.2 mm, also aluminium wire. This is a set for a workshop that welds steel and sometimes takes an order in aluminium.

What to watch out for
The supply is 400 V, three phase. Liquid cooling: check the fluid level and the tightness of the quick couplings before you start. The interconnection cable is about 2 m, so you place the power source with the feeder close to the part.
The record does not list an earth cable, so confirm the equipment before you buy. It gives no weight, and a transformer build weighs a lot.
How we sell used machines
This unit was checked in our service workshop in Krotoszyn with measurements to PN-EN 60974-4 and a load test. The price includes the first year of the basic service package: an inspection with cleaning of the machine and a validation measurement. Further years can be added. We ship across the European Union, collection in person by appointment.
