What this machine is for
The range from 5 to 400 A covers thin parts and thick steel sections, so one source handles precise fusion runs and heavy joints. Direct current suits mild and stainless steels, while aluminium needs alternating current, which this machine does not have.
You take such a reserve of current for the production of steel structures, for work in heavy industry and for repairs and maintenance, where a long bead without pauses for the source to cool counts. The build is solid and meant for industrial conditions, and liquid cooling holds the torch in check when working at high current.

What to watch out for
The supply is 3 x 400 V, and the card gives a 31 A fuse, so the connection has to be an industrial one. The cooling runs on liquid, so before the start check the level and the circulation of the coolant and the state of the torch hoses, because work without flow destroys the handle. The machine weighs 182 kg and measures 920 by 720 by 930 mm, so this is stationary equipment: plan transport on a pallet and a fixed place for the station.
The card gives neither the duty cycle nor the open circuit voltage nor a list of equipment, so confirm the duty cycle and the set of cables with us before you buy.
How we sell used machines
This unit was checked in our service workshop in Krotoszyn with measurements to PN-EN 60974-4 and a load test. The price includes the first year of the basic service package: an inspection with cleaning of the machine and a validation measurement. Further years can be added. We ship across the European Union, collection in person by appointment.
