The EWM Integral MIG 500 is an inverter MIG/MAG welder with a welding current from 5 A to 500 A, with 500 A at a 60% duty cycle and 400 A at a 100% duty cycle. The supply is 400 V, the cooling is liquid, and it has pulse, synergy and built in programs for different metals.
What this machine is for
The range from 5 A to 500 A covers both thin sheet and thick structural joints. A current of 400 A in a 100% duty cycle holds long runs without breaks for cooling. Apart from MIG/MAG the power source handles TIG and a covered electrode, so one station closes three methods. Such a set suits a workshop that during one shift moves from structural steel to stainless steel or to aluminium.
Synergy shortens the settings: you choose the wire and the thickness of the material, and the power source picks the voltage and the feed speed. Pulse orders the transfer of drops in the arc and limits spatter, which shortens the work after welding. The feeder is a 4 roll one, such a drive also leads soft aluminium wires.

What to watch out for
The supply is 400 V, three phases, a power connection is needed. Liquid cooling: you check the fluid level, the flow and the tightness of the quick couplings before the start. TIG and MMA are an option, for both processes you need a separate torch and cable.
The card gives neither the weight nor the dimensions, settle the transport before collection.
