FOXcore 316L-T0 is a high-alloyed flux-cored wire of the E 316L type for austenitic stainless steel, meant for the flat and horizontal positions and run under a mixed shielding gas.
Among the parent materials it covers 1.4401, 1.4404, 1.4409, 1.4432, 1.4429, 1.4435 and 1.4436. The deposition rate is high, which shows on long welds and thicker walls, the deposit has a corrosion resistant austenitic structure, and the wire is used in tank building and process piping.

Use brushes and discs kept only for stainless steel, carbon steel particles cause rust staining on the face. Remove the slag before every following bead, slag left between layers is the most common source of inclusions.
