What this machine is for

What to watch out for
The product record puts the machine in the current band up to 200 A and the description gives 170 A at a 40% duty cycle, so when you match it to your process keep to the values from the duty cycle. Gas cooling limits long runs at the upper settings, because the grip heats up. On a long extension lead the voltage drops, so watch the cross section of the cores and the length of the cable.
This is a direct current source, so you will not weld aluminium with it, for that you need a machine with alternating current. Apart from the TIG torch the description does not list an earth cable or a regulator, so confirm what the set holds before you buy. The description gives no weight and no dimensions.
