Praktik 220 LED Synergy is a 230 V inverter welder for MMA with coated electrodes on direct current (DC) and for TIG DC with contact ignition. It delivers 220 A at 60% duty cycle and takes electrodes up to 5.0 mm. You can weld with rutile, basic, stainless steel and cast iron electrodes. The small housing and a weight of 4.5 kg make work in the workshop and away from it easier.

Features
Electrode suggestion (MMA synergy)
You set the current, and the welder shows which electrode diameter and which material thickness match it. You change the current steplessly. The LED display is clear and makes precise setting easier.
Pulse welding and VRD
In PULSE mode you weld with coated electrodes on pulsed current. VRD brings the open-circuit voltage on the electrode down to a safe level. This protects you from electric shock when you work in damp conditions.
Help with ignition and sticking
HOT START gives a higher current at each arc ignition. ARC FORCE helps the droplet transfer to the weld pool, so the arc does not go out when the droplet touches it. ANTI STICK cuts the voltage when the electrode sticks and prevents an accidental arc.
Generator operation
The welder is designed to run on a generator (+/- 15%). A fan cools it, and it also has overload protection.
